Fly Fishing
FishingFishingFishing

Let our experienced guides show you the best fly fishing in the Rocky Mountains.

We offer guided fly fishing trips on the Madison, Gallatin, Missouri, Jefferson, & Yellowstone Rivers, on site ponds, Yellowstone National Park, remote mountain lakes, local private waters, and more.

Our hand selected, local guides have many years of experience fishing, guiding, and instructing on our Southwest Montana Rivers. Many of our guides fish destinations around the world and love to share their experiences with you. From fishing hard all day for large browns, to catching some eager rainbows while taking a scenic float down the beautiful Yellowstone River, we will match your desires with the best trip possible. Guide trips are never predetermined. Your guide will take into account what you are personally looking for as well as the current conditions.

We are truly lucky to be in the middle of world class blue ribbon trout fishing. The ranch has three trout ponds on site.  Our location offers diverse options of fishing. We primarily catch wild brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout. Mountain whitefish and grayling are also found in our rivers and nearby lakes.

Most of our full day fly fishing trips are drift boat float trips.  Leave your car at the lodge and hop in with your guide.  A shuttle will take care of transporting their vehicle while you are fishing.  Enjoy the serene float down one of Montana's famous trout rivers.  Non-fishing companions can ride down the gentle scenic river to view wildlife and take pictures of all the fish! ~Unless being pampered with massage therapy, or shopping downtown historic Bozeman is more your style.

Walk wade trips are also available.  The Gallatin River is mostly a walk wade fishing only river.  The canyon section where Robert Redford filmed "The River Runs Through It" is a walk wade section in the Gallatin National Forest.  Outfitting in the canyon section requires a special forest service permit that we carry.  It's more physical than floating, but the rewards are well worth it!

Back country fishing trips off of horseback and mules to remote mountain streams and lakes are also available.

Yellowstone National Park Slough Creek back country horse/fishing trip dates still available!  August 3rd-6th, September 4th-7th:  $1,700.00 per person.
